Welcome to Prescott, Arizona mountain biking. If you haven’t ridden here before, you are in for a real treat. We have 250 miles of trails to pick from. Here are some suggestions for one , two and three day stays in Prescott for mountain bikers.

BEGINNER RIDES:
  1. Peavine Trail from Watson Woods Trailhead north toward 89A or East on IronKing Trail. This is an old railroad bed trail so 10′ wide with no steep climbs. 18 miles if you ride both.

  2. Brownlow Trails: You may want to stay south of Pioneer Parkway if it’s your first time. The area is well signed and you can choose double track or single track or mix it up. About 15 miles of trails.

  3. Spence Basin Trails: from lower parking lot on Spence Springs Road on the Noodle Loop. About 2 miles. Other Green trails in the area are Sidekick, Javelina and Vista. Make a loop with all 4 trails for about 5-6 miles.

INTERMEDIATE RIDES:
  1. Ranch Trail (#62), Badger Mountain Loop

  2. Spence Basin: West Side Story Loop from upper parking lot at mile post 5 on Iron Springs Road. West Side Story, Rusty Fender, Zygomatic, Tatanka, Sidekick, BLM, Rail-bed/Javelina 332 back to car.

  3. Trail 396 from White Spar Campground on White Spar Road ( route 89 ). Ride up the 396 to Trail 330 to the parking lot on Senator Highway and back down 330 to the parking lot.

EXPERT RIDING:
  1. The Prescott Circle Trail starting at White Rock Trailhead on Thumb Butte Road. This is a 56 mile loop with many good places to start. If you want to do sections of it, arrange to be dropped off and picked up at your selected start and finish.

  2. Spence Basin Trails to Rocky Top and Little Italy.

  3. Granite Dells Trails from Black Canyon to Boulder Creek.

  4. Constellation Trails for technical granite bouldering.

We also have a pump track at Granite Creek Park just North of Downtown Prescott on N. Montezuma St.
