DESCRIPTION:This is a friendly reminder that our next Spence Basin Trails Volunteer Workday is the second Saturday every month. We hope you can join us!\n\n\nMeet: Upper Spence Basin (Iron Springs Trailhead parking lot) at 7:45 AM\nWork until: Approximately 12:00 noon.\n\n\nWhat to bring & wear:\nWe will be on USFS land and PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) protection is required.\n\n\n– Long-sleeve shirt and long pants\n– Closed-toe shoes\n– Hard hat (a bicycle helmet works)\, gloves\, and eye protection\n– Plenty of water and some snacks\n\n\n(All tools will be provided.)\n\n\nSchedule:\n– 7:45 AM – Meet at Iron Springs Trailhead\n– 8:00 AM – Short orientation and safety meeting\n– 8:00 –12:00 PM – Trail main Maintenance work\n– 12:00 PM Noon– Snacks and refreshments provided at the trailhead\n\n\nOther notes:\n– Trailhead location: https://maps.app.goo.gl/CferBBSGEGhnjyzL9\n– Questions? DESCRIPTION:Help maintain the trails at Bean Peaks. This is your way to give back to the trails that bring so much fun to our mountain biking community. \nThis month we’ll be joined by the volunteers with National Public Lands Day 2026 to build the new Bean Peaks #751 trail from 8am to 12pm.  Maybe finish it ? \nEnsure that the trails at Bean Peaks remain in good condition. These trails are stewarded by volunteers just like you.  \nWe will be working on brushing\, trail contouring\, tread maintenance\, etc. Tools will be provided as needed. \nSign up  here.  We need to know how many volunteers so we can plan ahead for tools and other equipment.

We will have a morning of trail work on the new Bean Peaks #751 trail from 8am to 12pm\, to be followed by the Volunteer Appreciation Party & BBQ at Goldwater Lakes from 1pm to 3pm! RSVP Required. Please email zachary.staley@usda.gov for details.\n  \nAll trail volunteers are welcome to join us for the Volunteer Party & BBQ even if you can’t make the morning of trail work on National Public Lands Day itself.
