Trail Work Day, Spence Basin
October 21 @ 8:00 am - 12:00 pm
We will do the hand finishing of “Spence Creek,” the newly cut-in connecter between Westside Story and Javalina. If time and turnout allows we will also work on “Skyline” which is also rough-cut. Parking will be at the lot where trail 332 crosses Iron Spring Rd. We will carpool down the railroad grade and walk in to the work location. Also note the start time of 8:00 AM, please arrive on time so we can get organized and started efficiently.
Note: Work days are 4 hours long. This is a Prescott National Forest trail work day so you MUST wear long pants, long sleeve shirt, eye protection (sunglasses are OK), good work shoes, bring gloves, sunscreen, snacks and plenty of water. Tools and hard hats will be supplied. Bicycle helmets are acceptable if you want to ride into the work area.
