Celebrate National Public Lands Day in the Prescott National Forest

Where:

Staging will be at the upper field are of the Emmanuel Pines Camp.

Schedule is below. We have a full day planned, so please RSVP for the activities you wish to participate in so we can bring enough food and tools.

Other Details:

This is a Prescott National Forest (PNF) trail work day so you MUST wear long pants, long sleeve shirt, eye protection(sunglasses are OK), good work shoes, bring gloves, snacks, and water (if you are coming to do trail work). Tools and hard hats will be supplied.

Driving Directions to Emmanuel Pines Camp:  Take Iron Springs Road from the Miller Valley/Willow Creek intersection 3.2 miles to Spence Springs Rd (Emmanuel Pines Road) on the left.  Follow the road 1.1 miles through the Camp to the large field in the back.

2 pm - 4 pm - MTB Ride and Hike Enjoy the famous PMBA all-ages and abilities “8 to 80 ride” and a hike with Forest Service personnel on local trails.
8 am - 12 noon - Trail Work Day Join us for our monthly trail work day and help build some new trail!
10 am - 12 noon - Trail Building Workshop Learn trail design, tools and techniques. Yes, you can do trail building!
12 noon - 2 pm - Meet and Greet, Ground Breaking Ceremony, and BBQ Mingle with your fellow mountain bikers, eat some BBQ, and join us for the ground breaking ceremony for the new Emmanuel Pines Trails!
